Teaching process:

Step1 Warm-up

T:Hello, boys and girls . How’s the weather today?

S: It’s .....

T: It’s sunny. I’m feeling happy. So let’s listen to a song . (Play a birthday song)

T: Do you know whose birthday today.(show a Daming’s photo)

S: Daming.

T:Yes,today is Daming’s birthday. Some friends come here. They’re Sam, Lingling, Amy and Tom. Listen! A sound is coming.(play a voice about flute) teach the phrase:play the flute.(show a voice about phone) teach the phrase:phone ring.(show a voice about doorbell)teach the phrase:bell ring.(show a voice about suona) teach the phrase:play the suona.Then ask :what’s he doing. Answer and write a sentence: He is playing the suona,but the phone rings.

Show the title and teach it.

Step2 Lead in

T: Show a picture and ask :what’s he doing?

S: He is cleaning the windows .

T:Play a voice about phone .Then say:but the phone rings .

T: show a picture and ask :what’s he doing?

S: He is watching TV.

T: Play a voice about the door.Then say: but the bell rings.

Step3 Teaching

T:You’re so clever .Now, please open your book and turn to page 26.

Please look at part 2,liten to the recording.The first time only listen .The second time listen carefully and answer the questions on the screen.Then check the answers and teach the word”bark”.

The third time ask the students read after the recording.

Step4 Complete the sentences

Show three pictures from the text.Let the students complete the sentences and read it.

Step 5 Retell the text

Show the pictures from the text. Ask some students retell the text and read it .

Step6 Practice

Show some pictures from page63.

First ask the students look at the pictures and say it.then ask the students write it.

Five minutes later check the answers .

The third time ask the students read it(girls read picture 1and picture2,boys read picture 3 and picture 4)
