Step 1 Warming up

sing a song 《Are you sleeping?》

(活动目的:英语歌曲的导入,使学生很快的进入学英语的氛围中。而且这首歌的歌词不仅呈现了本课要学习的现在进行时,而且还出现了本课要复习的bell,ring等词汇。为本课的学习做了铺垫的作用。)

Show some pictures to review be+v-ing .

T:Look,What are they? They are balloons.You are Green Balloon , You are Red Balloon,and you are Yellow Balloon.If you do a good job,the balloon will fly higher. OK?If you want to fly higher,you must work harder.

(活动目的:通过分组让学生明确自己的任务,并产生竞争意识,调动学生的学生积极性,让学生不自觉的融入到整个英语课堂。)

T shows four balloon cards.and draw some lines on the blackboard.

Step 2 Presention

T:Now look at these pictures and complete the sentences..

(活动目的:通过图片,及小组抢答的形式复习现在进行时,充分调动学生的学习积极性)

2.New Words

T:What’s this?

Ss:It’s a ---(复习乐器名词,并认识唢呐)

T:Can you play the ---?

Ss:No,I can’t.

Look ,this girl can play the suona.

She is playing the suona.

Note: play the +instrument

What ‘s the dog doing?

Teach :bark loudly The dog is barking loudly.

(活动目的:在图片情景里学单词,有利于加深学生单词记忆)

Drills

T shows a scene. He’s eating and the phone is ringing.

T shows another scene.He’s eating,but the phone rings.

Compare the two sentences and explain “and” and “but”

Then look at the pictures and practise .

(利用ppt播放的顺序,帮助学生理解and表示并列的动作,其动词形式一致。But描述正在发生某一动作时的偶然事件)

4.Text

(1)Read the questions quickly.Then listen to the tape.

(2)Work in groups and talk about the questions.
