内容预览

文化意识。本节课在拓展环节向学生展示历届奥运会的吉祥物,从而让学生领略世界上几个重要国家或城市的象征物和吉祥物。

语言知识。学生能听、说、读短语及单词sticker, comic,football picture, autograph, postcard, stamp能运用句型What do you collect? I collect…进行口语交际。

情感目标。通过各种活动,帮助学生用英语完成学习任务,从而提高学生的学习成功感。让学生积极参与,乐于交流。同时让学生初步感受收藏文化以及收藏乐趣,引起其对收藏这一行为的兴趣。

学习策略。在教学过程中,渗透自然拼读单词、聆听故事等认知策略的培养,同时设计任务为学生提供交际机会。让学生能运用所学的英语进行表达、交流。

三、说教学重难点

四、说教法学法

1、自然拼读法

自然拼读法,又叫做Phonics,在英语国家,自然拼读法是儿童学习语言时最常使用的方法之一。通过该方法,儿童循序渐进地掌握文字与声音之间的联系,从而达到提高阅读能力的学习目的。一旦掌握了这种方法,在英语学习方面将会达到事半功倍的效果,在今后的学习中将终身受益。因此,在这节课里,通过让学生自己观察和四人小组互相帮助学习的方法,让学生自己学会拼读单词。

2、故事教学法

在小学英语课堂活动中,讲英语小故事这种手法在一定程度上提高了学生学习英语的兴趣。事实上,这是因为孩子们爱听故事,好奇心强,所以讲故事这种手法符合孩子的心理特点,这就解决了学习动机的问题。因此,在新课引入的时候运用故事教学法,既吸引了学生注意力,又启发了学生的思维。

3、任务型教学法

任务型教学法是《英语课程标准》倡导的主要教学方法。它是吸收了后现代外语教育学理论之最新成果而形成的一种新型教学方法。本节课在巩固练习阶段运用了任务型教学法,让学生运用语言完成访问调查,体现了英语的工具性。

六、说教学过程

Step 1 Warm-in. Before my class, I’ ll get the students to say what's their favourite thing? Try to lead in the new subject "what do you collect?"

Step 2 Presentation. First I’ ll take out a sticker from the box.let the students guess what's this? Then teach the new words: stickers. Lead in the new sentence: What do you collect? I collect stickers. Work in pairs to practice the question and answer.

Step 3 Consolidation. I’ ll take out stamp from the box. let the students guess what's this? Then teach the new words: stamp. Lead in the new sentence: What do you collect? I collect stamps. Work in pairs to practice the question and answer. Then I’ ll take out a sticker and a stamp from the box. let the students guess what's this? Lead in the new sentence: What do you collect? I collect stickers and stamps. Work in pairs to practice the question and answer. At last, lead in new sentences: I don’ t collect football pictures or postcards.

Step 4 Test. Match pictures and words. Listen to tape, do the practice 2 in book.

Step 5 Homework. Encourage my student to show what they collect. Try to introduce their favourite things.
