教学重难点:

本课时的教学重点、难点:学生能够掌握tomato, potato, soup 三个单词;在实际生活中会用英语点餐及表达自己的饮食爱好,特别是灵活运用句型“What would you like? ” “I’d like …” “Would you like some …? ” “ Yes,… please. ”

教学准备:

教学课件、单词卡、菜单、服务员服装等。

教学过程:

1. Warm up

1)Greetings

T: Hello, boys and girls, I’m Nancy.

S: Hello, Nancy.

2)Chant: Fish and rice.

T: Before our class, let’s say a chat, Ok ? Please show me your hands. Let’s clap and chant.

T: Wow, you can chant very well. And what’s it about?

S: Food and drinks.

T: Yes, look! They are eggs, rice, and bread. They are all… (food).

T:Yes, and what else can you say about food?

学生说食物,此时教师渗透均衡营养。

S:eggs.

T: Do you like eggs? They are very nutritious, yes?

S: Noodles.

T: Do you like noodles? It’s a kind of traditional Chinese food. Yes?

S: fish

T: Do you like fish? Why? Oh , it’s yummy!

S: hamburger

T: Oh, it’s a kind of Western fast Food. Do you like hamburgers? Oh, It’s yummy, but we shouldn’t eat too much junk food, Because it’s bad for our health and makes us fat. Yes?

S: vegetables

T: Oh, do you like vegetables? Good, vegetables are very nutritious. We should eat them every day , yes?

2. Wow, boys and girls, you give me a big surprise, you can say so many food. Let’s say them together.

[设计意图] 运用三年级下册学过的chant《Fish and Rice》活跃了课堂气氛,自然引入了“Food”这个话题。紧接着让学生说一说你还知道哪些食物,激发学生的学习兴趣,同时在与学生的交流中,教师还渗透了健康饮食的好习惯,为接下来的学习做准备。
