Warm-up

1. 教师与学生互相问候。

2. 出示本课学习目标。

3. 教师引导学生对上一单元的内容做个简单的总结,并顺势引出本节课要学的内容。

T: Do you know which festival is the most important in our country?

Ss: Spring festival.

T: Do you know which kind of food we usually eat in that day?

Ss: Dumplings.

T: Do you like dumplings?

Ss: Yes. /No.

T: What kind of dumplings do you like?

Ss: Students answer.

T: Now, look at the PPT: There are many kinds of fruits.

T: Do you know what they are?

Ss: fish, chicken, beef

T: How many kinds of meat do you know?

T: Can you make dumplings?

Ss: Yes, I can./ No, I can’t.

T: Now, listen to the tape, and have a guess, if Qiaoqiao and Xiaoxiao can make dumplings?

T: Listen again, and read the text again, answer the questions.

T: Look at the PPT.

What kind of dumplings do they want?

How about Xiaoxiao’s dumplings?

How long will it take to boil the dumplings?
