学情分析

45 students aged from 14-15.more than half of the students are interested in learning English. However, there are some students who are really weak at listening and speaking. It is important for the teachers to encourage the students and teach them some listening skills. All the students are divided into 8 groups .they have been working in groups in English class since last year.

教学重难点

How to help students get information and retell the play better in listening.

Students put on the play actively.

教学过程

Step 1 lead-in

1) Show the students a picture of a famous play.

2) Show the students background information of Robin Hood

Make sure the students have a clear understanding of play.

3) At the same time, teach some new words and phrases.

Step 2 Listening task I

Listen to the first part of the play. Who said the following lines? Fill in the blanks with the correct names from the box.

Listen to the second part of the play. Write one word in each blank.

Step 3 Listening task II

1) Listen to a dialogue of the play and get information.

2) Teach the students related listening skills.
