1.Finger game

【讲授】Step Pre-story

1.Teach the new words: eleven, twelve

T: What’s six and five? It’s eleven. Ss learn to say.

T: What’s five and seven? It’s twelve. Ss try to say.

2.The quick answer: eleven or twelve

T present:3+8=?12-1=?...Ss give the quick answer.

3.Teach the sentences: What time is it? It’s…o’clock.It’s time for…

A.Here are the twelve numbers. They have a happy family. What is their family? Ss watch and guess.

T: It’s a nice clock. It’s also very useful. It can tell us the time.

T: Look, what time is it? It’s three o’clock.

T:What time is it?? SS: It’s four o’clock. /It’s eleven o’clock.

B.Here’s another clock. Look ,what time is it? Ss: It’s seven o’clock.

T:Who can you see? That is Miss Ma. What do I do?

T:I have breakfast.(Teach the new word: breakfast)

T: So, you see. It’s seven o’clock. What do I do? It’s time for breakfast. Ss learn to say: It’s time for..

C. By using the same method, T lead the students to say:It’s time for dinner./It’s time for bed.

D. The game: The quick response. T say the time, Ss say “It’s time for…”
