活动1【导入】Unit 2  A new student (Story time)教学设计

Step 1 Warm up

1. Free talk

T: Boys and girls, you have been in school for four years. Do you like your school?

T: Do you familiar with it? Let’s check.

2. Have a competition in groups.(Boys & Girls)

小组竞赛加星,引导学生使用There is a / There are … in our school.一人一句介绍自己的学校,越多越好。

a. 教师根据学生的回答,相机出示单词教学classroom, computer room, library, music room, playground等

b. 教师期间可引导提问Is there a / Are there any …s? How many …s are there …?,同时板书句型

c. 教师可在学生介绍中适时补充楼层介绍,… is/are on the … floor. 同时板书关键单词和句型。

Ex:

S: There is a library in our school.

T: Good. It’s on the third floor, right?

S: Yes, (it’s on the third floor).

T: Is there a playground in our school?

S: Yes, (there is). There is a playground in our school.

T: Are there any …s?

S: …

Step 2 Story time

1. 出示Nancy和课文第一幅图,

T: Who is she?

根据学生预习后的回答,揭示课题A new student

2. 出示第一幅图中的对话,理解短语show … around

3. T: If you were Nancy, what would you like to know about the new school?

引导学生提问(可提示板书Is there a / Are there any …s?)

4. Listen and circle the places which mentioned in the story

(进一步教读单词classroom, computer room, library, music room, playground)
