Our/Their favourite colour is .... 教学准备 PPT, word cards, pictures, word pictures. 评价方式 Divided students into four groups and when they do great job they can get points, after class show the points.(face: When they do good job they can get a part of the face, e.g. eyes, nose, mouth, teeth) 教学

concept 20 Teacher changes the bottles to make a magic show which is to present different colours students need to learn.

T: Look at the bottle: Let’s change some colours to make a rainbow.

Shake the bottle to make colours.Teach the new words one by one.Then let them see the colour and try to say it. Write and draw the words with the rainbow.Lead and teach the new sentences: I/We/They like ..., my/our/their favourite colour is .....

Do the same procedure to learn the words: yellow, blue and green.

Follow the teacher to say the colours

S: red.

S: yellow.

S: blue

S: green.

Students say the new words and sentences about the colours with the teacher. Introduce the new words, the students learn and practice the new words.

Extend their knowledge about the colours instead of just knowing how to say it. Practice 8 1.after learning the four words of the colours: red, yellow, blue, and green. practice

I point you say the words, I say colours and you point and say words.

2. after learning the new words and the new sentences, practice: pair work to practise the sentence structure. Ss say the colours first, the first one can get one point for the group. Then students point and say the words, the first one also gets one point for their group.After the pair work, show with their partners. Through the four kinds of practice to make sure most of the students can say the new words and can understand the meaning of the new words, as well as they know the the meaning of the sentences. Homework
