Teaching process:
Step 1 Inform students of learning aims
1. I can understand the poem.
2. I can read the poem fluently.
3. I can try to describe four seasons.
Step 2 Warm up
1.Enjoy a song: A sunny day.

Step 3 Lead in
1.Lead in 4 seasons through asking a question:how many seasons are there in a year?
2.Let’s learn: show pictures of 4 seasons separately and talk about its weather to teach the new words:spring,summer,autumn and winter .
E.g. In spring, it is warm.
Task a: A snowball game enables ss to sum up the sentences of describing the weather of each season.
Task b: Have a race to say which season it is seeing different pictures.(to check whether ss can tell the 4 seasons,that is, consolidate at once)
Step 4 Presentation
1.Lead ss to discuss:what can we do in spring,summer,autumn and winter.
2.Enable ss to know the poem and instruct them to make new ones. And meanwhile,teach the phrases:have picnics and go climbing.
3.Play the video and let ss watch again with 4 questions and do a match. E,g, In summer, we eat ice creams. Then let ss fill in the blanks for further understanding and read after each sentences.
4.Explain go+V.ing
Step 5 Consolidation
Choose the favorite season and read it out in group of 4.
Task c: Dub the poem.
Task d: Encourage ss to act the poem out based on their understanding.
Task e: Choose one season to make a conservation in groups of 4.
