教学设计思路 By Jigsaw reading, pupils learn to cooperate with each other to get more information. They learn to read by themselves first, and then ask and share information from others. Through comparing the differences of two tea cultures, their thinking logics are well developed because they know what aspects to think and how to get information. What’s more, they also learn about the culture of tea time in Guangzhou and that in England. Pupils may love their hometown Guangzhou and its local culture more. 问题预测和应对措施 Questions: When pupils are required to ask questions about different tea cultures in different countries, they may not know what to ask and how to ask. Therefore, they cannot get enough information to finish the reading task. What’s more, they may not report the differences of two tea cultures.

Solutions: Teacher should help pupils learn and consolidate the expressions of giving directions. What’s more, make a step-by-step demonstration. The teacher can guide students to watch the video of different dishes first to arouse pupils’ appetite and interests. Then through step-by-step questioning and thinking, students can learn about the tea time in different countries very well. The teacher should guide the pupils how to ask questions step by step. One or two students are encouraged to ask questions first to set a good example. Thus, pupils can gradually learn what to ask and how to ask.
