Activity One: Review
1.Free talk
T: Boys and girls, we learned Story time last lesson. We know that there are four seasons in a year. (板书课题“Unit5 Seasons”)
T: Which season do you like best?
2.Play a game
Look at the weather words or season activity pictures and guess “which season is it?”(PPT快速反应)
Spring: warm, fly kites, go boating,plant trees…
Summer: hot,eat ice creams,go swimming…
Autumn: cool,have picnics,fly kites,go climbing…
winter:cold,make snowmen,go skating…
3.Talk about four seasons
T: Different seasons have different weather, colours, and we do different activities, eat different food and fruits, dress up in different clothes. Let’s have a brain storm. Please think about all the related vocabularies, the more, the better.
Tips: 四人小组根据本组季节主题,说一说与此季节相关的词汇(包括weather气候, colours, activities活动, food, fruits, clothes等等)比一比哪一组想到的词最多。计时两分钟。
S: Discuss
在学生反馈过程中完成板书如下(当学生说到hot,cold, warm, cool这四个词,要求他们拼写,其他可根据实际情况适时调整)
