Step 1 Leading in
Talk with students:
Do you know where Li Ming, Jenny, Danny and Mrs. Li are going?
How do they go there?
Do you want to go to the Wangfujing Street? Why?
Show some pictures of the places of interest in Wangfujing Street and let the students guess what they are buying. Introduce the title of this lesson.
Step 2 Think about it
1. Show some questions about the Wangfujing Street and ask the students to answer.
What do you know about the Wangfujing Street?
Have you ever been to the Wangfujing Street? Do you want to go?
Lead the students to answer the questions and ask them try using the new expression: about.
2. Ask the students: Do you know a Chinese saying about the Wangfujing Street?
First, ask them to say this sentence in Chinese.
Then show the English sentence and explain it.
Read and repeat.
