2学生能正确的听、说、读、写句型Is there a…? Yes, there is. / No, there isn't. Are there any…? Yes, there are? / No, there aren't. How many… are there? There are…并能在情境中进行运用。
教学难点
1 学生能理解序数词first、second、third的意思和用法（序数词前面要加单词the）
2 学生能正确听、说、读、写There be句型的一般疑问句以及相关答句。
教学过程：
Step 1 Free talk
1 a Let’s play a game. You say , I say. 玩一玩七嘴八舌的游戏，学生针对一个话题进行头脑风暴，说一说。鼓励学生用There is 和There are 介绍自己的教室。复习前一单元学过的there be句型。同时引出There be句型的一般疑问句形式： Is there …/Are there …?引导学生进行肯定和否定回答。
b Guessing game 鼓励其他学生用Is there …/Are there …?进行提问，拿着词卡的学生只能用Yes， there is./are. No, there isn’t/aren’t.回答，直到猜中为止。
This is classroom. This is library. This is playground. This is computer room. They are in our school.
Step 2 Leading in
出示书上图片，问学生Did you know her? 引入新学生Nancy。She is at school now. She is a new student. 导入课题（板书）。以Nancy是新学生，Yang Ling带Nancy参观学校为主线。
Step 3 Presentation
（1） Watch and choose
Nancy is new here. So Yang Ling is show her around. 此时带读show …around. They are talking to each other. What rooms is Nancy asking? Watch and choose
观看视频，初步感知对话。
(2) Watch and fill in
看完视频，选出Nancy和Yang Ling 谈论的场所之后，让学生观察图片，选词填空。
（3）Read and underline
Where are the rooms? （P18的图片，让学生仔细读课文，填一填，并让一位学生上黑板填一填，之后让学生两人一组描述一下）此时教学楼层表达，以及the+序数词
