教学过程:

Step1: Warming up and leading in

1. Brainstorm

T: Boys and girls, let’s say some similar words.

T: Can you say any animals?

S: Yes. Cat, dog, horse, tiger, panda …

(通过Brainstorm来唤起学生说英语的热情,同时导入本课课题animal friends.)

T: Good. And animals are our friends. (揭示课题)

2. Guessing game: What’s my animal friend?

(PPT给出一些提示)T: I have an animal friend. It’s black and white. It has a big and fat body. It has two arms and two legs. It can climb trees. So what is my animal friend?

S: It’s a panda.

T: Yes. Who can read this word? (Show “body”)

S: Body. (Follow the student.)

T: Its plural form is “bodies”. (Show the card “bodies”)

Tip: body的复数形式,变y为i,再加es. ( 呈现这个特殊的复数变化规律。)

Then teach “arm, arms, leg, legs, tail, tails, wing, wings” by the same way.
