Review the words and drills in Unit 1-4

Be able to use the sentence structures frequently.

Teaching procedures:

Step1. Elicit the topic

Enjoy a group of pictures about our city.

T: We can go around Zhangjiagang at weekends and enjoy ourselves.

Elicit the title ‘Go around the city’

But the city we’ll talk about today is not Zhangjiagang. It’s her city. What city is it? Let’s listen.

Step2 Review the places we have learnt.

Read the map of Garden City and guess what places they are.

e.g. You can see a film in it. What place is it?

You can post a letter in it. What place is it?

Step 3 Review the structures of asking and telling the way

e.g. take the bus at … , and get off at the bus stop near the park. Where do they go?

Step 4 Review the structures in Unit 1, asking about the film.

Kitty and Ben go to the cinema. What film do they see?

Asking about the film Cinderella

What film is on? How much is the ticket? What is the film about?

A dialogue between Kitty and Mum.

Ask about the film using ‘wh-’questions.

e.g. Where is the party?

How does Cinderella feel?

Who helps her?

Step 5 Review the structure of asking the way in Unit 3

1)After seeing the film, Kitty and Ben want to have lunch in the restaurant. How can they get to the restaurant?

e.g. Walk along…

Then walk along …

And turn ….
