【Student Analysis:学情分析】
本课时教学的对象是高二的同学。学生对“英国”的地理，历史，文化了解较少，学生对文章涉及词汇比较陌生，看到这个题目，文章的篇幅，产生惧怕心理。先通过 Warming up, Pre-reading 唤起学生的阅读兴趣，教学设计要由浅入深，消除学生对本文的恐惧感，引导学生参与到教学活动中，在参与中学会学习。
学生英语基础较弱，不敢主动用英语表达自己这一现状，教师采用 视，听，说，读的教学方法，提供图片，地图，帮助学生从感性认识逐渐上升到理性认识，培养学生运用英语进行思维、表达的能力。
