五、 教学 过程:

Step 1 Warm up.

1.Show the learning aims.

2.Listen to a chant about me to lead in the title “A healthy diet”.

(导入健康饮食的话题。)

T: To keep healthy, we should know what food is healthy and what is not. Now, Let’s play a game.

( 向学生展示一些表示食物的单词, 要求学生先正确朗读出来然后分别按照健康或不健康将它们进行归类)

Step 2 Presentation and practice

Listen and tick: What do Mike and Yang Ling like eating?

(听录音,选出Mike 和Yang Ling 的喜欢食物。)

Watch and judge.

Read the sentences first and then watch cartoon to finish the exercise of True or False on page 28.

3.Complete a form.

(细读课文找出Mike和Yang Ling日常饮食并完成表格并且2人讨论。)

E.g.Mike likes...He has...for breakfast...

4.Listen and repeat.

5.Let’s discuss: What is a healthy diet?

A: Discuss in groups about what food should we eat more? What food should we eat less?

B: Discuss in groups “Do Mike and Yang Ling have healthy diets?” And “Why?”

C: What should Mike do?

Step 4 Consolidation

1.Retell the story.

2.Make a healthy diet’s poster.

Four students in a group choose one meal and design a healthy diet around three questions: When should we eat? What should/need we eat? How much should/need we eat?

Step 5 Homework

1.Read and try to retell the story.

2.Try to write some suggestions on healthy diets for your family or friends.
