Giving a poetry recital

一、教学目标

By the end of this section, students will be able to:

1. choose a poem for their recital;

2. present their group work’s recital;

3. evaluate and comment on each other’s recital.

二、教学重难点

To enhance one’s abilities of innovative and cooperative learning.

三、教学过程

the poems they have learnt in the unit.

What have you learned about the famous poems in the unit?

(1) What’s the name of the poem?

(2) Who is the poet of the poem?

(3) What about its theme?

(4) What kind of tone shall we read in?

2. The teacher has students work in groups to discuss and choose their favourite poem by answering the following questions.

(1) Who is your favourite English poet?
