Step 1 Lead-in

Watch a film《Martin morning》

T: Have you watched a film “Martin morning?”

Every morning, When Martin wakes up,a new character is waiting and something unusual happens. Martin’s morning is full of extraordinary. That’s his dream. So magic! Shall we begin our topic?

Step 2 Presentation

1、教师出示自己的照片,Who is she? It’s me. I want to be a teacher when I was a child. Now my dream comes true. I’m your English teacher. Today we talk about dreams.(揭题)

2、Miss Li and her students are talking about their dreams, too.

1、What does she ask? 带读:What do you want to be? Listen. How do they answer? Watch the cartoon and try to catch the main ideas.

3、 Listen and check

T: What do you want to be, Mike? (录音回答) What did you hear? You can choose one to ask.

4、Read and underline: All of them have their dreams. Let’s read carefully about the boys’ dreams. Open your books and underline the boys’ dreams. If you have some difficulty, you can ask others for help.(板书男孩头像)(相机板书词组)

Tell me Mike’s dream. Who cares about his teeth? He has clean and beautiful teeth. Read with pride.模仿Mike自豪的语气。

学习astronaut. Do you know spaceship? Who flies the spaceship to the space? astronauts Do you know astronauts?Armstrong became the first astronaut to walk on the moon in 1969. In 2003,Yang Li wei took the Shen Zhou five spaceship into the space for the first time. He is Chinese. Read his dream.

In the world cup There are many students in our school. (出示我校输入市队、省队足球队员)We are proud of them. There are some football players in our class .

Football players, stand up ,read the sentences together. Read after them.

评价男孩子们的梦想:T: What do you think of their dreams? Yes, Miss Li says : Your dreams are great.(板书大拇指)

5、Read their dreams after the tape correctly.

6、 What about girls’ dreams?(板书女孩头像) Make a poem in groups according to the passage.(相机板书词组)

Your poem is nice. Read the passage emotionally.

These are the students’ dreams. What’s Miss Li’s dream? Miss Li : I want to see your dreams come true.(板书树叶形状的板书:come true)

7、Try to retell the students’ dreams according to the phrases.

过渡:Dream is like sunshine in our hearts. It makes our life shining. It makes our future hopeful. Hold to your dreams, and try to make it come true!

Who wants to talk about your dream?Group leader put your dreams into the bottle.

2、How can you make your dreams come true?

Today, you put your dreams into the bottle, you should keep your dream in your mind and work hard for them.
