Step1 Pre-reading

Before class: Enjoy the song “Job Song”

1. Play the game “Link Link”

T: Can you say some names of jobs? I will give you the first letter, say as many as possible.

Are you ready?

Teach: dancer writer

[设计意图:通过这个游戏,不仅调动课堂气氛,同时让学生感知如何从动词变成职业类名词。引出两个较为简单的单词writer及dancer的教授]

2. Talk about Bobby’s dream

T: Look at Bobby. What does Bobby want to be in the future? Teach: future in the future

S: He wants to be a traveler.

T: So being a traveler is Bobby’s dream. Teach: dream

3. Talk about our dreams ( Make dialogues in pairs)

A: What do you want to be in the future? B: I want to be…(板书)

T: I hope your dreams can come true. Teach: come true
