(二) 、 Revision Look say and act:请几位学生在黑板上画出表示天气的图标。然后请全班同学看图标说出天气名称:sunny, windy, cloudy, rainy, hot, cold, warm. (复习学过的有关天气的形容词,为本课的学习打好基础) (三)? ?、导入及任务呈现 T:Do you remember the robots we talked in last period? Robots can do everything! These days Mr Robot is very busy. He wants someone to help him. In this period, he will choose some “Little Weatherman” to be his assistants. If you want to be his assistants, you should pass through all his tests. Let’s see who will be the winner. 设计意图:“任务型教学途径”强调在课的一开始就向学生提出任务, “机器人挑选小小气象员”的任务既能引起学生的兴趣,又与本模块的话题“Robots”相呼应。 1、课文及生词教学: (1)T:To be a weatherman , you should learn how to broadcast the weather. First, Mr Robot will show you how to broadcast the weather tomorrow. (2)学生观看课件 (学生观看课件两遍) 设计意图:通过多种媒介,调动学生的感官,使其全面感知,从而能运用所学语言进行交际。 (3)教师提出问题: a.? ? T:What will the weather be in Beijing? S:It will be windy in Beijing.( 若学生无法回答,可重播课件中的有关片段,并让学生跟读) b.? ? T:What will the weather be in Hangzhou? S:It will be rainy in Hangzhou. 重播课件中的相关片段,点明:It will rain in Hangzhou与It will be rainy in Hangzhou 的区别。(根学生讲明rain 和rainy的区别) c.? ? T:What will the weather be in Guangzhou.? S:It will be sunny in Guangzhou. d.? ? T:What will the weather be in Sanya? S:It will be hot in Sanya. e. T:What will the weather be in Yinchuan? S:It will be cold in Yinchuan. Mr Robot is broadcasting the weather tomorrow, so he says like this: It will be… in … . 教师板书。 设计意图:通过观看课件,回答老师的提问的方式引出生词,使学生易于理解、接受、并为理解课文和完成交际性任务扫清障碍。

3.听录音跟读课文: 设计意图:让学生听录音跟读模仿,有助于进一步理解课文并形成良好的语音、语调。

(四)、小组操练,评选第一批“小小气象员”。 学生在四人小组内模仿播报明天各城市天气,然后上台指着地图播报各城市天气,同学评价选出第一批“小小气象员”。 设计意图:通过让学生在小组内播报各城市天气的活动,促使学生能够用学过的英语做事,用学过的英语解决实际问题。

(五)、比赛说句子,评选第二批“小小气象员”。?将windy rain sunny snow cloudly 融入句型:It will be …in …(说句子比赛:将单词融入句型,教师不给任何提示,给学生说说最近周围的一些地方的天气情况或电视上一些城市的天气情况。学生四个人一个小组,画并出示一个天气的图示,写上一个城市的英文的名词,说出自己的图示所表示的意思。) S1:It will be windy in Beijing. S2:It will rain in huangzhou. S3:It will be sunny in guangzhou. S4:It will snow in Beijing. S5:It will be cloudy in chengdu. 猜得好的同学当选为第二批“小小气象员”。 设计意图:复习句型,教师引导学生将句子“活化”学习,灵活运用本课的重点单词和句型。

(六)、听声音测天象,评选第三批“小小气象员”。 T: You can broadcast the weather well. That’s not enough. To be a weatherman, you should have the ability to judge the weather according to the sound of natural. Let’s who can judge the weather correctly. 多媒体课件先播放狂风大作的声音。教师猜测:Will it be windy?点击画面出现狂风大作的场面。并回答:Yes, it will.教师板书。 教师领读: Will it be windy? Yes, it will. 并顺便指着画面问:Will it be rainy? Will it be hot? Will it be cold?等句子,引导学生回答: No, it won’t.教师板书。 (七)、地理知识测试。评选第四批“小小气象员”。 T:OK. You have passed through most of Mr Robot’s test. Now Mr Robot will give you a most difficult test. He will see if you have some knowledge of geography. Discuss in your groups ,write and draw the symbol of the weather of different countries in Frbruary. You can ask like this: Will it be windy/cold/hot/sunny/rain/ snowy/warm/ in….? 学生们在小组内就如下表格进行讨论,记下讨论结果然后上台汇报: The weather of different countries in February
