一：分词简述

现在分词─动词原形+ing

过去分词─动词原形+ed（部分分词有不规则变化）

注意 ！！！！

现在分词---通常含有主动和进行两个概念。

过去分词---通常含有被动和完成两个概念

二：分词的句法功能1、分词作定语→定语从句

Eg:1）Yang Li wei smiled and waved to the crowds waiting for him. (=who were waiting for him

2）This is a book written (=which is written) by Ni ping.

(1)They kept me waiting for a long time.

(2)I found the door locked

2、分词作宾语补足语Vt+宾语+宾语补足语

注意 ！！！！

分词做状语实际上就是一个并列句或状语从句的省略，并对句子稍做改动。

Eg：①when he heard the good news，he was very excited.

=Hearing the good news ，he was very excited.

3、分词作状语

②As he is a clever boy， he studies very well.

=Being a clever boy, he studies very well.

③ If we were given more time ,we could do it much better

=Given more time, we could do it much better

（1）The girl ___ in the corner is a good singer.

A.sit B.sitting C. sat D.to sit

（2）The proposal ___ by him will be discussed.
