Step 1 Leading in(5 minutes)

All of us love our family. Our family is everything. Sing Finger Family together.

Then use some pictures to show the new words.

New Words

member[`memb?] n. 成员 son [s?n] n.儿子 daughter[`d?:t?] n. 女儿

drive [draiv] v.驾驶,用车送n. 驱车旅行 policeman [p?`li:sm?n] n. (男)警察

radio [`reidi?u] n. 无线机,收音机

(Read these new words after the teacher and read them to each other. Then show themselves.)

(设计思路:以歌曲的形式做“热身运动”,使学生们既对教材感兴趣又能尽快进入英语学习的氛围中)

Step 2 Listen (2 minutes)

Let students listen to the tape and fill in the blanks.

Listen to this part three times. When students finish this part, they should read their answers.

Step 3 Read and Answer (15 minutes)

Show Jenny’s family members. Let students know more about Jenny’s family.
