Teaching Strategies:
At the beginning of the class, the teacher shows a lot of pictures to help students know about the history of books in general. During the class, the teacher divides the whole class into 6 groups and let them work in groups to solve difficult problems which they meet in class. Teacher assigns different activities for students to do in every step, such as Spelling Bee, Reading and Order, telling the history of books and Discussion. Students learn the language points in the certain circumstance while they are practicing their language skills such as speaking, reading and writing.
Learning Strategies:
Students need to preview the text before new lesson, which is good for developing their self-study. They should grasp the meanings of new words and phrases by looking them up in the dictionaries and surf the Internet to find out information about books, Computers and the Internet.
