教学过程

Step1.Warm up , greeting! Show their my picture that is my twentieth birthday.

Step2. Let’s listen a song ‘You and me ’. They can look at the lyric. . Encourage them to sing this song along with lyric.

Step3.New words .rope,sit-up,push-up,race,long jump,result , none .

Step4. Reading task: answer the following questions.

How many events did Jenny’s classmates invent for the classroom Olympics?

What were they?

2. Who did win first place in the jump rope event?

3. What things did they need to prepare for Danny’s event?

4. How did Brian feel? Why?

5. What did you think of the Jenny's classroom Olympics?

Step5. Let’s play! Ask three student to play in a minute. For example jump rope ,sit-ups , push-ups. Then let students record their results.

Step6. Language points.

“ did more than in the Sit- ups,and did most. ”

Let students use this sentence make same sentence to talk their own Olympics.

Step7. Exercise

3. What events did your friends win?

4. Did you have fun? Why or why not?
