3. 教学重难点

　重点：理解课文大意并能够正确应用本课的重点词汇:

graduate,Toronto,remain,anti-,decision,aid,worst,condition,operate,government,medical;掌握重点短语T.B.,remain in use,be well known for…,Anti-Japanese War,make a decision ,first aid,day after day,set up。

　难点：掌握before,after,as引导的时间状语从句和that引导的定语从句。

二、 说教法

本课的教学内容是冀教版九年级英语第二单元的第十一课,主要以“为爱来中国”为题,利用多媒体展示白求恩的图片导入新课,激发学生的学习兴趣。通过小组合作的方式,激发学生的积极性,锻炼学生快速阅读课文的能力。理解课文内容并复述课文,发挥学生们的记忆潜能,最终达到语言综合运用能力。

三、说学法

结合本课的特点，我主要指导学生采用通过听、说、读的方法来学习本课。通过听，可以捕捉有用的信息，读，可以详细理解文章意思，说，可以应用所学的表达方式。长期训练这三种学习方法可有效提高学生的听、说、读的能力。

四、说教学过程

　[设计意图]　利用图片直接导入新课,师生互动,激发学生的学习兴趣。

StepⅡ.Presentation

　The teacher presents the new words on the screen.Ask students to try to read these words.The students follow the teacher three times.Then give the students four or five minutes to memorize the new words.

　[设计意图]　呈现本课中出现的词汇,领着学生们朗读并记忆,让学生们了解重点词汇,为下一步的阅读做好铺垫。
