Too many new words in part 3 may obstruct students from understanding, listening and acting it.

Solutions:

Recycle and use the new words in different tasks.

五、课堂风貌设计(活动名称) 快乐课堂和“英语做事”课堂:

教师积极创设情境,巧妙导入课题。通过创设情境,调动和激发学生自主学习的情绪。在课堂中穿插了三个小组竞争活动— “猜猜他们最喜欢的动物”;“哪些动物不见了”;“小组活动,角色扮演”。这几个竞争活动都指向本节课的目标语言,能让学生在愉快的气氛中自觉地学习和运用语言。所以这既是快乐课堂也是用英语做事的课堂。

六、教学过程设计(方法、手段、意图)Step 1 Lead-in and warming-up (3 minutes)

1. Introduce myself. Show students pictures to guess my favorite animal.

2. Show students some pictures to ask them to love and protect animals. We’ll have some

competitions to raise money for animals.

(意图:通过老师自我介绍,并猜测老师最喜欢的动物导入,容易快速地吸引学生的注意力。展示残害动物的图片可以激发他们保护动物的情感。)

Step 2 Presentation (7 minutes)

1.Competition (Round1) What’s his/ her favorite animal?

Show the clues and the pictures to teach new words about animals , their foods and the new structures.

Does it eat meat? Yes, it does. / No, it doesn’t.

(意图:通过猜谜“他/她最喜欢的动物是什么?”的竞争游戏学习新词汇和句型,避免了单纯教学词汇的枯燥,容易激发学生的学习兴趣和动机,能使学生积极主动地参与到学习中来,体现寓教于乐。)

2. Pronunciation and speaking.

Play the tape for the students.

Do Activity 5 and Activity 6 on page 37.

(意图:语音教学帮助学生们掌握正确的发音。)
