(四) Teaching Aims and Demands
On studying the teaching material and analyzing the Ss, I put forward the teaching objectives according to English syllabus and new lesson standard.
1. Perception objective
The Ss will master the new words about animals and 7 continents, key and difficult points.
2. Ability objective
By completing the task, the Ss will increase their interests and set up self-confidence.
(五) Teaching Key and Difficult Points
1. Key points
The Ss will learn the new words about animals and 7 continents, “come from”， “Welcome to …”，“Would you like to …?”
2. Difficult points
I think the difficult point is to make sure the students can use “Does + 主语 + 动词原形…?”
(六) Teaching Aids
Tape recorder, PPT, ten cards.
They will be needed in this lesson. They are great help to increase the Ss’ interests. The Ss can master the knowledge easily.

I will use Elicitation Method and Picture Teachingmothod.

The Ss will use Self-inquiry Mothod and Cooperation-discussion Mothod in this lesson.
Part Four Teaching Process
Step 1. Show the learning goal
Let the Ss know what they will master in this lesson.
Step 2. Revision and lead-in
I will play the flash “Old McDonald had a farm”, and let the Ss find the animals that they can see in it. A funny song can greatly attract the Ss interests and make them lively. They can not only go over some animals’ words, but also be taken to the new lesson.
Step 3. Show and learn the new words about animals
I will say to the Ss ,“ Today is pig’s birthday. A lot of animals are coming to her birthday party. Listen, there’s a knock at the door. Who’s coming?” Let the Ss look at the PPT. The animals’ heads in the pictures will be covered. The Ss will guess what animals they are. And then, the new words about the animals will be shown on the screen. When I teach the Ss the new words, I will use rising-falling tone. For example, tiger↗,tiger→,tiger↘. It will be catchy for the Ss to read the new words.
Step 4. Show and learn 7 continents
I will tell the Ss, “Animals are our friends. They live with us on the earth. We should love them and protect them. We all know that there are 7 continents on the earth. Do you know what they are? Now, look at the picture.”And then, I will show the Ss a map of world, and let them guess where the 7 continents are.
The section will not only give the Ss character education, but also increase the subjects’ contact, and widen the Ss’ knowledge.
