1. Free talk. Ask the students to ask and answer the question:

—What are you going to do at the weekend?

—I’m going to...

2. Look and say. Show some pictures on the screen, and answer the questions.

—What is/are she/he/they going to do on Saturday morning?

—She /He/They is/are going to...

Step = 2 ﹨* ROMAN II Language practice

1. Read the example sentences in the box. And summarise be going to structure.

一般将来时: be going to

1.定义:表示按计划、安排、打算做某事。也可表示将要发生的事。

2.结构:

●肯定句:

主语+am/is/are going to +动词原形+其他 .

●否定句:

主语+am/is/are not going to +动词原形+其他.

●一般疑问句:

Am/Is/Are+主语+ going to +动词原形+其他?

肯定回答: Yes, 主语 + am/is/are.

否定回答: No, 主语+ am/is/are not.

●特殊疑问句:

特殊疑问词+am/is/are+主语+going to +动词原形+其他?

3. 表示将来的时间状语: tomorrow, next week/month/year, this afternoon/evening/weekend, in two days, in the future等。
