三、教学过程Teaching Procedures:

Step 1: Leading in

First, show some books in Chinese to the students and ask “Do you like reading books?” Then show some books in English and ask “Do you like reading books in English?”

(设计意图:激发学生的头脑风暴,让学生感知本节课将要学习的内容。)

Step 2: Pre-reading

1) Show a picture of Alice’s Adventures in wonderland to the Ss and introduce the book to Ss.

2) Show a picture of rabbit to the Ss and let them to discuss what do they think it’s strange.

(设计意图:师生互动,通过介绍书本中的故事人物给学生,自然地引出本节课内容。同时,通过同桌之间的讨论体现合作精神,激发学生的兴趣和求知欲。)

Step3: While-reading

1) Fast reading

Ask the Ss to listen and number the events in the order they happened.

(设计意图:使学生知道整篇文章的大概意思,同时也使学生掌握快速阅读的技巧)

2)Careful reading

Task1: Read Paragraph1 and fill in the blanks.

Task 2: Read Paragraph 2 and choose the best answer.
