Step1: 趣味热身，激情导入
Greetings
T: Hello, everyone.
Ss: Hello, Cindy.
T: How are you today?
Ss: I’m happy.
T: Very good. Cindy is very happy today.
2. Review
T: Let’s review what animals live on the farm.Each students says one animal and spells the animal.( Review the animals: chicken rabbit dog duck cow pig horse fish sheep)
3. Sing a song
T: Today we will go to the zoo together. Are you ready?
Ss: Yes.
T: Let’s go. Look, boys and girls.If we want to be all free to visit the zoo, we should sing a song about animals. Are you ready? Ok, everyone stands up.（同学们需要共同演唱一首动物歌曲才能免费进入动物园参观）播放歌曲 《Act like the animals》（师生一起边唱边做动作）.
【设计意图：用歌曲开始课堂，既活跃了课堂气氛，又复习了学生第一单元中学过的动物单词，调动学生已有经验，为今天要讲内容做铺垫。】

Step2: 教师引领，呈现新知
1. 教授单词：zoo
T：Where else have animals?(学生会说动物园。)今天，Cindy就带大家一起去动物园。（课件出示zoo的图片）Look,this is a zoo.(教师领读数遍，学生跟读，强调字母组合oo的发音.并拼写。)
T:售票员阿姨提出要求，你们要小组合作，共同闯关，能获得一份小礼品。有没有信心？Let’s see which group is first.Try your best okay?
【设计意图：通过创设情境，以闯关的形式将整堂课的教学活动与学生的小组活动有机结合在一起，使本节课显得更为整体化。采用竞争机制，分组评价，并由此开始了一个过程性评价。不仅极大地调动起孩子们学习的热情和积极性，还培养了他们的合作精神和团队意识。】
2. 观看动物园视频
