Pre-reading

(1)T: OK,boys and girls, do you like chant. Let’s chant together.

Ss: I’m lost…(师生拍手共唱歌谣)

Chant 复习旧知,学生顺其自然进入新知,产生学习动力和信心,为后续环节的有效表达和生成做好准备。

(2)T:The girl is lost in the city. Because there are many places in the city.

Show the map of the city and ask the Ss talk about:

What can you see in the city?

Where is the library?/restaurant?

Is it far from here?

(3)Show the cat on the city map. T: What happened to the cat?尽量引导学生大胆猜测,设置悬念激发学习兴趣。

Flash the cards of the story and write the title on the blackboard.

T:Where is the cat going to do in the city? Let’s watch a video. 引导学生回到:It is going to her sister’s home/Nice house.

结构文本

教师戴上头饰:I have a sister. I miss her. I am going to visit her. Ask the students to read picture1 and find the information about my sister.

What’s my sister’s name? Where does it live?

T: So I am going to visit her. (解决新词visit,教授发音,并让学生试读visit grandma and grandpa、visit to a doctor)

T:There are many new streets. I’m lost. Who can help me?

Ask the students to act the dog. 开展师生对话

T:Excuse me, Mr. Dog. I am lost. Can you help me?

Dog:Yes?

T:Where is the Nice house?

Dog:Go straight and turn left.
