Step 1:Free Talk

Hello everyone, I want to ask you, do you have friends?

Can you describe your friend?

I have a friend, her/his name is…

He/she is a pupil, he/she is 12 years old.

Step 2:Read the passage.

让学生读文章,并强调生词读音,边读边翻译,理解文章含义。

着重讲解新词和第三人称单数的用法。

Step 3:Show the pictures to the students and ask the question.

Step 4:Think about the passage,describe the story.

Little Zeke is a little, little boy.

He has a friend, her name is Emma, he often helps her.

A new girl comes to Emma’s class.

Her name is Tess, she feels sad and afraid.

Little Zeke helps her and Tess feels very happy.
