教学过程:

阅读前

与学生打招呼Hello! How are you? Nice to meet you.

与学生玩游戏Read and Do。由单词hi引入hide,大屏出示一些hide词组,让学生边读边做。

教师与学生对话,复习本单元重点内容,并引入新课。对话内容如下:What can you see in the classroom?Where is your schoolbag? I have a schoolbag, too. Where is my schoolbag? What’s in it?

让一名学生到前面摸一摸书包里有什么(pencil, ruler,pencil box, apple等)教师问Is it your …? 示意该生问Whose … is this? 当该生拿出苹果时,教师示意Put the apple on the desk。问其他学生What does he do? He puts the apple on the desk.

引入新课

T: (教师从书包里拿出Little Zeke.)What’s this? What can you see in the picture? Is he big or little? Do you know his name? We call him Little Zeke。Today Let’s learn a story about Little Zeke. Zeke is a little, little boy.板书。Now let’s watch the story and then tell me “How many friends does Little Zeke have? Who are they?” 让学生带着问题观看故事。

2.阅读

a大屏出示图1:用书中的句子介绍Emma: Emma is a girl. She is little Zeke’s friend.

b.出示图2: Emma has many friends. Tom, Nan ,Jane and Little Zeke are her friends. Can you see Little Zeke here? Where is Little Zeke? 让学生猜一猜。

c.揭示答案He hides in Emma’s desk. 教师用动作演示hide的意思,出示书中的句子Little Zeke has only one friend—Emma.

与学生谈话Do you have friends? Do you help her? The same with Little Zeke.

d. 由The same with Little Zeke.引出图4图5.What does Little Zeke do?让学生看书自己读这两幅图,找出答案。(He helps Emma. He puts an apple on the teacher’s desk.)板书He helps Emma find the pencil.然后问一问学生在这两幅图中What are they talking? 让学生试着填空完成对话并模仿跟读。

e.出示Tess, She is a new pupil in the class. 让学生自己读图6至图8.并填空 Tess feels _______ at first. Tess feels ______ then.大屏出示答案,找自告奋勇的学生读一读。追问学生Why? (Little Zeke helps her.)板书helps Tess feels happy. How?(Little Zeke writes to her.)找自告奋勇的学生读一读这个句子。

3.再次观看故事。

4.根据板书进行简单复述。

5.开放性问题: What other things does Little Zeke do? (He puts an apple on the teacher’s desk.)Why?

阅读后

大屏出示一些问题:Who is your friend? How old is your friend? Is he/she tall or short? What does your friend like? Do you help your friend?

让学生来回答,然后教师回答问题来介绍自己的朋友,提示学生回答问题的过程也就是在说一篇英语小文章。
