Good morning boys and girls. Nice to meet you. First, let’s sing a song together, .

设计意图:以歌曲开头,活跃课堂气氛,并在歌曲中复习各辅音字母的发音,为本节课的学习做铺垫。

New concepts

(一)Letter “Aa”

Wow, you did a good job. Let me check. What does letter “a” say? Can you read these words, fat, can, hat, man? Now can you read these words, fate, cane, hate, mane? Let’s watch a video and tell me: What does “a-e” say?

(播放字母a-e的发音视频。)A-e says [ei].

Let’s read these words again. A-e, t, ate, f, ate, fate.

Try to find more words with a-e.

Can you read more words? Let’s see. 播放a-e组合的单词让学生拼读,Let’s read words like this: m/a-e/d made. 示范两个单词后,Who can read this word?

设计意图:利用字母卡片对字母a-e发音为[ei]进行多次练习,重点掌握和巩固字母a-e在单词中的发音。

视频展示chant,让学生拍手跟读,最后让学生一起chant。

Game time! 小组竞赛

Game 1: Boom! (踩地雷)

选择一个数字,并正确读出数字下的单词,读对单词得一分,选中炸弹扣一分。

Game 2: Microphone Game (传声筒)

游戏开始前用视频先给学生做示范。每一列为一组,从第一名学生开始,将本组卡片上的句子记住并悄悄传给下一名学生,直至本组最后一名学生听到句子后示意,看哪组传的又快又准确,给表现好的组加分,并评出得分最高获胜组。
