二、教学问题诊断
本课核心话题是用He/She has________(hair/eyes). He/She is ________(short/tall/thin/fat).描述家庭成员的长相。五年级的学生在三、四年级时，已经学过颜色、家庭成员中的father, mather, brother, sister；还有short, tall, fat, thin这些描述人的形态的词汇；在本册第一课Li Ming’s Big Family中学习了grandfather, grandmother,aunt, uncle,cousin这几个家庭成员的词汇。并且对第三人称单数动词的变化也有了一定的了解，也能够对一些简单的问题进行回答，如“、what colour is/are ______? Is she/he tall or short?”等。学生已具备了学习新知识的基础。在新授的过程中学生可能还会在三单形式have-has上出现问题，用have/has描述长相也可能会出现用His/Her hair is _____.这样的描述。
三、本节课的教法特点以及预期效果。
本节课的教法设计主要运用游戏法、情境教学法和任务型教学法。让学生在丰富多彩的教学活动中轻松愉快的掌握新知，并能运用新知流利的描述家人及朋友的长相。
