Step 2: Presentation
1. T: Look at the picture. I have a friend. She is a lovely girl. Her name is Mary. She lives in America. She is far from me. I miss her very much. What can I do? Who can help me? Turn to page 38.

T: Yes, this is a letter. (教授,板书新词letter, 并强调[e])
T:Where do we write a letter? 出示图片:paper,领读,引导学生说句子。
Ss: We write a letter on paper.
T: Next picture, what’s this?
S: This is a computer.
T: Yes, the computer is very useful in our life. For example, We can play computer games or we can write an email on a computer.(出示幻灯片 an email并板书新词email.强调冠词“an”。)
T:Where do we write an email? (引导学生说句子。)
S: We write an email on a computer.
T: If your friends live far from your city, you can write a letter or an email, what else?
