Step1. Warming up
Take a few minutes to greet and talk about the weather.
Use the topic of the weather to review the Present Continuous Tense.
设计意图:通过讨论学生感兴趣的话题开课。调动学生学习英语的兴趣。复习上单元所学习的现在进行时。
Step 2. New concepts
Use the cards to teach the new vocabulary: much, postcard, letter, email
Show each card and say the word on the computer with the different ways.
Take out the sample postcards and envelops that I brought to class. Pass the postcards around the room, and give the students time to look at them.
设计意图:小组活动时,让学生去接触,体验真实的物体,加深印象,更好地记住单词。
Step 3. Presentation
Practice. Ask the students something about the postcard, letter and email.
设计意图:角色表演环节,让学生加深对句子的理解,贴近生活。联系实际。

1.Listen to the tape and follow it .

1、Finish the exercise in Page 39.
