2 学情分析

四年级的学生具备了一定的英语基础知识,有了基本的语言表达能力,也具有一定的自主学习能力。并且在三年级和上学期的学习中掌握了一些内容,如:数字、食物之类的词,为本课做好了铺垫,再加上本课的时间与平时的生活息息相关,学生非常熟悉。本节课也让学生学会描述时间以及在什么时间该做什么事,但是学生们还不能在真实的情景中灵活运用, 这就成了难点,老师需要逐步引导和示范。因此从学生已有知识入手,创设情境,提供交际活动,创设游戏活动,最终让学生掌握本课语言。

3 重难点

Ss are able to master the key words and key sentence patterns

Ss are able to use the key structure to communicate with others in the real situations.

Ss can express intergral time

4教学过程

4.1 第一课时

4.1.1 教学活动

活动1 (热身)Warm-up

(1)Firstly I will have a greeting with my ss like this:T:Good morning boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, miss Yu.

(2)Secondly I will have a free talk with them like this: boys and girls, now look at the screen. Ok, what’s this? Yes, it’s a clock. Read this word follow me. Today we will learn new unit: What time is it?

(3)Finally I will divide our whole class into 2groups

设计意图:简单的日常问候利于拉近与学生的距离,自 由谈话也营造了轻松的环境,把学生分组是为了激起学生的 竞争意识

活动2 (导入)Lead-in

I will show a clock, then I will ask What time is it? Yes,it’s 8 o’clock.( I will have ss pay attention we should add o’clock when we express intergral time.) I will ask ss what are you doing at 8 o’clock. Ok, now let’s go to see

John’s day.

设计意图:通过PPT呈现一个闹钟并询问时间,并告诉学生整点时间的表达, 进而引出今天的主人公约翰,为新知教授作了铺垫

活动3 (讲授)Presentation

Firstly I will show a clock and ask what time is it? Ss: It’s 8 oclock. T: what is John doing? Ss: 吃早饭. T: Yes, he is having breakfast. So now it’s time for breakfast. Ok, now read this word follow me, let’s write together. b-r-e-a-k-f-a-s-t.

(2) Then I will use the same way to teach the rest words. And have ss to use them to change the key sentence patterns.

(3) After this, I will have ss read these key words follow me one by one.

(4) And I will invite ss to read for us and I will give assessment

(5)Finally, I will play a bomb game with my ss. (游戏规则:把地雷埋在单词卡片中,然后进行闪卡,闪到单词的时候每个单词读三遍,当闪到地雷的时候学生要双手抱头趴在桌子上并模拟地雷的声音)

设计意图:借助PPT的帮助,创设约翰的一天这一情境,进而逐步引出时间以及该时间段约翰在做什么来教授单词,在句子中学单词, 从而达到词不离句的效果。单词呈现完以后,检查学生学的情况,并给表现好的学生进行奖励和评价,从而激励他们踊跃举手发言。最后通过炸弹游戏来巩固所学单词,达到了在玩中学的效果,也渲染了英语学习的氛围和培养学生学习的兴趣。

活动四 (操练&输出)Practise and production

(1) I will have ss finish the fill in the blanks with the help of the ppt, and also give assessment to them.

(2) come to the front and share their own days with us.
