T : Do you want to have a party?
S: Yes, I do.
T : OK. We’ll have a part today and I have invited some pop stars to attend in order to make our party fun. Also we’ll do many interesting activities during the party . first , let me introduce the pop star to you. This is Jay Zhou. He likes reading and surfing on the internet, but now he’s having a party with us. Do you want to introduce yourselves to him?
S1 : Yes.
T : OK. What do you like doing?
S2 : I like playing basketball.
T: and what about you?
S3 : I like singing.
T : Can you sing a song for us?
S 3: Yes, I can.
T: Listen ,he is singing , and you are listening to him.
T : If you want to express what is happening , we can use a new tense, it’s called Present Continuous Tense. What’s the usage of the Present Continuous Tense?
S1 : 现在进行时表示现在或现阶段正在进行的动作或状态。
T : and what about the structure?
S2 : be + doing
T : The form of doing , we call it “present participle” .
