T: OK. We’ll have a party today and I have invited some pop stars to attend in order to make our party fun. Also we’ll do many interesting activities during the party.T: First ,Let me introduce the pop star to you.This is Jay Zhou.He likes reading and surfing on the internet, but now he,s having a party with us.Do you want to introduce yourselves to him?
S:Yes.
T:Ok. what do you like doing ?
S2: I like playing basketball.
T: And what about you ?
S3: I like singing.
T: Can you sing a part for us?
S3: Yes, I can .
T: Listen, he is singing, and you are listening to him.
Step3. New drill
T: If you want to express what is happening,, we can use a new tense ,it’s called Present Continuous tense(现在进行时)。
T: What’s the usage of the Present Continuous tense?
S1: 现在进行时表示现在或现阶段正在进行的动作或状态。
T: And what about the structure?
S2: Be+doing.
T: The form of doing ,we call it “present participle(现在分词)”。
T: There are some examples on the screen. Can you find out the rules of changing present participles?

Show them some more pictures .Talk about their activities,using the Present Continous Tense .Read the passage ,contain the Present Continous Tense. Correct them. Open your books and complete exercise one.Check and read them.
