教学重点:1.掌握重点单词:celebrate guess dress as Christmas festival because present together full

2.掌握重点词组句型:dress up get together moon cake how about have a big dinner

3.学习中外著名的节日。初步了解庆祝这些节日的方式。

教学难点 :根据图片猜测词义,讨论最喜欢的节日。

五、教学设计理念

以任务型教学为基础,以学生为主体进行互动式教学,注重教师与学生的沟通交流、学生与学生之间的合作交流,调动和发挥学生的主体性,培养学生的语言交际和运用能力是牛津英语教材的教学理念。根据课程的总体目标和教学内容创造性地设计任务,以吸引和组织学生积极参与,调动学生通过思考、调查、讨论、交流和合作等多种形式,达到学习、掌握和运用语言的能力。

六、教学设计思路

针对本课的内容不是太多,对于学生现有的认知水平,采用启发式和导入式进行探究性学习。通过新旧知识比较法、讨论法和操练法,从而增加学习内容的趣味性,调动学生的学习兴趣,使全员参与,达到寓教于乐的效果。

七、教学过程

Step 1 Comic strip

1. Show the pictures and say: Look ! We can see Eddie and Hobo again.

Q:What are they doing? Can you guess? A:I think they’re celebrating their holiday.

(教学策略:学习并操练单词:celebrate, holiday。Holiday—the day you don’t have to go to school. Celebrate—do something for the day. )

Q:What is Eddie doing? A:He’s dressing up as a ghost.

(教学策略:用手势或其它动作、表情教学生短语dress up as……和单词ghost。)

Q:Do you like dressing up as a ghost? A:No, we don’t. Eddie doesn’t like, either.

Q:What’s Hobo dressing up as now? A:He is dressing up as Monkey King.

(教学策略:学习单词monkey和king.)

Show the picture of Monkey King: Do you know him? We often call him Monkey King.

(可以让喜欢孙悟空的学生利用面具模仿其造型)Who can dress up as Monkey King??

2. Read after the teacher. Practise in pairs reading in roles as Eddie and Hobo.

3. Act the dialogue

(教学策略:让一些小组到前面表演,鼓励学生自由发挥,尽量用自己的造型,锻炼口语表达能力。)

Step 2 Welcome to the unit

1. Ask students to show the festivals they have prepared.

2. In this unit, I will help you to learn more about the Festivals in English.(教学策略:学习单词festival(s),并写在黑板上。用实物投影出示Part A图片,按以下顺序介绍:图片2—→图片4—→图片6—→图片5—→图片3—→图片1)

Chinese Festivals: Mid-Autumn Festival, Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat Festival,(教学策略:了解中国节日,并写在黑板上,便于学生记忆。)

Show some western festivals, and ask students guess:In English, we call it Christmas/Easter/Halloween?

(教学策略:了解西方节日,并写在黑板上,便于学生记忆。)

3. Read the festivals. Show Part A and ask:What’s the name of the festival? Ask and answer in pairs.
