The World Wide Fund for Nature (世界自然基金会)
The World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF) was founded in 1961. It uses a panda as its logo. WWF is an international non-governmental organization working on issues regarding the conservation, research and restoration of the environment. It is the world’s largest independent conservation organization. It works on around 13,000 projects in over 150 countries, and has 5 million supporters worldwide.
The group says its mission is “to stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature”.
世界自然基金会（WWF）成立于1961年，总部设在瑞士。世界自然基金会是世界上最大的、经验最丰富的独立性非政府环境保护机构。自1961年成立以来，世界自然基金会在六大洲超过150个国家投资超过了13,000个环保项目。
世界自然基金会的使命是遏止地球自然环境的恶化，创造人类与自然和谐相处的美好未来。为此，世界自然基金会致力于保护世界生物的多样性、确保可再生自然资源的可持续利用以及推动降低污染和减少浪费性消费的行动。
