二、教学过程:

Step1. Lead—in

Before class show Ss a song called “favourite seasons” and lead in today’s topic and arouse Ss’ interest in this poem.

Step2. Pre-reading

Self-learning:

Ss learn all new words,Click and read them by yourself.

Guess the meaning from the context.

Self-testing

3. Ask Ss to finish the exercises .

Step3. While-reading

Ss watch the video and enjoy the poem about four beautiful seasons.

Ss share their ideas : what’s your favourite season? Why?

Ss scan the poem quickly and match the pictures with sentences.

Help Ss get the main idea of the text.

Ss read the poem para 1—2, then answer the questions.

Why do the birds fly far away in winter?

What can we do in a windy and bright spring day?

Pair –work : Ss read para3—4 ,finish the mind map about summer
