(1) Ask Ss to find out what they saw in the video

(2) Ask Ss to match the important information with each season.

(3) Introduce Spring first, as the whole year’s work depends on a good start in spring. Invite Ss to read and find details about three parts ——people, animals and weather.

Enjoy the part of spring by reading as a whole class and help Ss find out the rhymes. Then, encourage three Ss to come to the front and underline the rhymed words.

What’s more, enjoy the beauty of rhymes together with Ss by repeating the rhymed words.

(4) detailed reading: find out some details about summer

Introduce “personification” through the word “lazy”

(5) detailed reading: help Ss take notice of the changes in autumn. Invite Ss to talk about what they can do in winter.Enjoy a poem about seasons and remember what they’ve seen in the poem. Name what they’ve seen in the poem(solo work)

One student comes to the board and drag the parts to the right seasons.
