Watch a video: After watching, let them tell what the natural disasters are according to the pictures.

Step4. Consolidation

Listen to the dialogue between Millie and Sandy. and let the Ss find out some information about the name of natural disasters, when, where, what, why It happened and the result and write the information on the card.

Step5 Group Work

Let the Ss read some news and get them to draw the cards according to the model.

Ask one leader of their group to present their new cards and stuck it on the blackboard.

Step6 Way to protect ourselves.

Tell the Ss what they should do if they meet an earthquake, a flood, a haze, a fire and so on.

Step7 Homework:

Design a poster to call on people to protect the environment.
