学生对自然灾害了解得不是很多，1999年的台湾地震应该是从未听说过，但是地震中自救的知识应该有所了解，但是不会用英文表述，所以本节课会对学生补充一些背景知识，并拓展一些地震自救信息，帮助他们了解得更多一些。
