Teaching Procedures:

Step 1 Lead-in

1. Greetings.

2. Play a piece of music and show the students some pictures about people’s behaviors in public places.

3. Let students talk about the right and wrong things to do in public places.

Step 2 Presentation

1. Show students two signs and tell them what the signs are.

2. Teach students to learn public signs through three questions.

3. Explain some language points to students.

4. Leave some exercises for students.

5. Show some other public signs, let students think about the questions.

Step 3 Listening

1. Play the tape of A1 for students to listen and ask them to complete the sentences.

2. After listening, check the answers.

3. Do Part A2 together.

Step 4 Writing

1. Do writing.
