Step 1: Warm up and lead in

Activity1:Watch and say

T: We often see many bad manners in our daily lives. Now let’s watch the video, and then answer me two questions. Which places are mentioned(提到) in the video? What shouldn’t we do in these places?

Purpose: To arouse students’ interest and lead in the topic of this lesson. To create a kind of lively atmosphere. More important is to activate(触发) the students’ prior knowledge.

Step 2:Pre-listening

Activity 1:T: In some places, we can see sth. like these. We call them public signs. These public signs can help explain things. And some public signs warn us not to do sth.

T: Which of them are not public signs? And why?

T: Where can we see these public signs?

Activity4:new words

Read the new words.

Purpose: the first step of listening, the purpose is to clear away the obstacles of listening.

Activity5:listening tips

Purpose: teach Ss the listening tips, they help Ss master the ways to improve their listening skills.

Step 3: While-listening

Purpose: because the listening material A2 is easier than A1, and some has talked about just now.
